Psycho opens to big crowds - 1960
Retlaw Theater,

Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho
does good business at the Retlaw in the summer of 1960 due to intense
national and local promotion, as well as strong word-of-mouth. Hitchcock
insisted on a "no late admission" policy and the Retlaw hired an
auxiliary police officer to be on site to "enforce" it.
