Fond du Lac's Retlaw Theater in 2008

Photo of Retlaw Theater in Fond du LacThe former Retlaw Theater in Fond du Lac, Wis., is shown as it looked in April, 2008. Fusion Mediterranean Bistro by Mark occupied the foyer and the restaurant's Mother's Day brunch was advertised on the marquee. The two doors to the right of the four "Fusion" doors lead to the upper levels of the retail/office portion of the building. The original large lobby window was removed and covered as part of a remodeling project done in the 1960s.

Photo of Retlaw Theater building taken in 2008The lobby entrance of the theater (Main St.) is on the far left of this photo of the Retlaw Theater Building. The stage house (Sheboygan St.) is on the far right. The building's commercial and office section can be seen in the center of the scene. This photo was made looking northeast in the intersection of South Main and Sheboygan Streets. The "two-tone" appearance of the stage house is due to maintenance work done to the brickwork in the late 1950s or early 1960s.

The lobby's glass window panes were removed and the opening covered during a remodeling project done in the 1960s.
